For Black women learning to honor their humanity
This space is for Black women who are on a healing journey of choosing themselves.
We are actively resisting white supremacy, capitalism, and every other system of oppression that leaves us exhausted, unwell, broke, questioning our worth, and demands we shrink ourselves to benefit others..
These raggedy systems haven’t just failed us—they’ve harmed us.
For many Black women, cycles of oppression, trauma, and disconnection began years—or even decades—ago. And we’ve been in survival mode ever since.
Whitewashed self-care is about cutesy vibes, candles, and compliance. About looking healed, not being whole. About staying “respectable,” small, and palatable.
But here, we do it differently.
We are healing from trauma rooted in white supremacy, capitalism, and patriarchy.
We are unlearning the lies that told us we had to hustle for our worth.
We are breaking cycles, grieving deeply, and softening on purpose.
We are choosing joy without guilt.
Walking in our purpose without apology.
Building community with other Black women who get it—who see us, who hold us.
We are no longer performing strength just to survive.
We are learning to thrive—in softness, in abundance, in rest, in truth.
Because self-care is not about being respectable. It’s about being free.
Everything you find on these pages is rooted in love, resistance, and solidarity—
for Black women and Black womanhood.

Black women were not put here to live a life of struggle, pain and exhaustion. We weren't born to serve and save the world. We do not have to earn our joy, our rest or our worth.
